Murray, Kentucky ( WOLO) — In tonight’s What in the World file: We talk often about what you would do for revenge. I’m a prankster so I have ideas for days. But, let me tell you i’d never think of what a Kentucky man did. He was turned away from a bar because he’d had too much to drink.

The man is known in town as ‘Cowboy Cody.’ his real name is Jonathan Mason. He’s 40. And apparently he trapped a raccoon earlier in the day on his farm and he had been carrying it around with him… as one does. And then he released said angry raccoon into the bar full of people! The bartender had dealt with “Cowboy Cody” earlier in the year with the “Mule Chase of 2025.” …i’ll get to that in a moment.

Back to the bar,  one of the employees tried to pick the animal up by the tail. No good. Here come the teeth, and it bit him. The employee had to get rabies shots. Now, this was not the first time “Cowboy Cody” was involved in an animal related crime. He was arrested in the winter for leading cops on a wild drunken chase thru the city streets on a mule. Twice. Two separate days.

He was booked and has a slew of charges against him. The ole release the raccoon loose in the bar trick.
