Three suspects identified for shooting on Watts Hill Road in Elgin
KERSHAW CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Kershaw County deputies say they have identified three suspects in connection to a shooting in Elgin last month.
According to investigators, on Friday, June 27, Willie Crosby, 30, William Alexander Portee, 21, and Chrystopher Jaquan Richardson, 22, were in an altercation with Travon Allen, 20, at his home on Watts Hill Road when they shot at each other.
Deputies say Richardson was shot during the incident and the other two suspects left the area in what was described as a tan/brown Chevrolet Tahoe.
According to authorities, Richardson checked himself out of the hospital before an arrest could be made.
Portee was arrested on Monday and Crosby is still at large wanted for attempted murder.
