Solar farm planned for Richland County

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A new solar farm is coming to Richland County.

County officials say Pontiac Solar announced plans to invest more than 112 million dollars to develop land along Pine Thicket Road in Eastover.

Once it is operational, officials say the farm will produce enough energy to support the county and state’s energy needs.
