Orangeburg County firefighters respond to Wednesday night grocery store fire
ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County firefighters responded to a fire at a grocery store on Wednesday night, said officials.
According to investigators, they responded to the F.L. Metts Grocery Store on Bleakley Street.
Smoke was seen coming from the eaves and roof peak of the building, said Orangeburg Department of Public Safety.
Firefighters say the fire was contained to a storage and office area of the grocery store and the cause has been ruled accidental.
There was no one inside during the fire and no injuries were reported.
