ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WOLO)– SCDOT is conducting nighttime traffic pacing operations on the I-95/I-26 Interchange in Orangeburg County for construction beginning Tuesday, says officials.
Beginning July 29, the operations will include lane closures and speed reductions.
The closures will begin at 8 p.m. and will be picked up the following morning. The operations will be repeated on Wednesday, July 30.
Digital signs will be placed along the route alerting drivers to these changes, according to the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
SCDOT asks that drivers slow down and pay attention when driving near work zones. Drivers can plan their route ahead by using the 511 SC app or visiting 511SC.org.
