Ozzy Osbourne’s cause of death revealed
The singer’s cause of death has been revealed two weeks after his passing.
The Black Sabbath frontman died from cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease, according to the death certificate obtained by The Sun.
On Tuesday, July 22, the Osbournes confirmed their beloved patriarch had passed away, “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time,” they said in a statement.
His death comes over five years after his announcement of being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in February 2019.
In July 2025, Ozzy performed with his Black Sabbath bandmates for one final show, which marked Ozzy’s official retirement.
Ozzy is survived by his wife Sharon and six children, Kelly, Jack, Aimee, Louis, Elliott and Jessica.
