Lt. Governor Evette’s campaign rolls out coalition of 100 Trump Grassroots Leaders
EDGEFLIED, S.C. (WOLO)– Lt. Governor Pamela Evette’s campaign for South Carolina governor made an announcement on Thursday about the formation of a coalition of 100 Trump grassroots leaders, conservative activists, and surrogates who are putting their support behind Lt. Governor Pamela Evette in the 2026 South Carolina governor’s race.
According to a press release, the coalition includes county captains from the 2016, 2020, and 2024 Trump campaigns, local GOP officials, state and national convention delegates, faith leaders, veterans, parental rights advocates, small business owners, and conservative influencers from across the state.
“I was proud to be one of few elected officials to stand with President Trump at the Statehouse in January 2023, and I’m just as proud to stand with Pamela Evette now,” said Cherokee County Auditor Ryan Thomas.
The announcement followed Evette’s $1 million fundraising haul in the campaign’s opening week.
Coalition members will take on roles as county leaders, surrogates, and event organizers.
“I’m honored to have the support of these America First patriots who fought tirelessly for President Trump and our conservative values. This coalition is proof
that the Trump base knows I’m the business-minded, conservative fighter they can count on to lead South Carolina with strength, courage, and results. We’ll never back down. We’re just getting started,” said Evette.
