(WPDE) — South Carolina Attorney General and conservative candidate for governor Alan Wilson announced his statewide steering committee, Team Wilson.
The committee is a coalition of more than 200 leaders, elected officials, law enforcement officers, veterans and conservative activists statewide.
These conservatives have fought for our values, defended our freedoms, and delivered for their communities,” Wilson said. “I am honored to have their trust and support as we fight to advance President Trump’s agenda here and protect our families and our values.
Moyne Grahm, Trump delegate to the 2024 Republican National Convention and presidential elector from South Carolina, said that Alan is a good man and will be a great governor.
Alan has stood with President Trump and up to the liberal Biden Administration, fought for law enforcement, and works everyday to protect South Carolina families.” Said Grahm. “I’m proud to stand with him in this new fight for our future.
I’m proud to join Attorney General Alan Wilson’s steering committee for governor. I had considered supporting another candidate, but after seeing Alan’s proven record and steadfast conservative leadership, I changed my mind.” Said Jim Lanford from Sumter County. “Alan has my full support in this race,
Jerry Rovner, South Carolina Republican Party 7th Congressional District Chairman, also expressed his support for Wilson’s campaign.
Members of Team Wilson spread across 46 counties, advising the campaign, helping mobilize grassroots networks and serving as key voices for the Wilson for Governor campaign across the state.
Wilson said the Steering Committee reflects “the strongest team of grassroots leaders ever assembled in a South Carolina gubernatorial race,” with representation throughout the state.
This team knows how to win tough fights, and we are just getting started,” said Wilson. “With their help, we’re going to make sure South Carolina stays strong, free, and prosperous.
