RCSD: Two charged following traffic stop
Richland Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Richland Co. deputies say two teens were arrested after a Friday traffic stop.
Investigators say around 8:30 that evening deputies saw a car make an improper turn and pulled the car over.
Deputies say there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the car.
According to deputies a search of the car yielded marijuana, Oxycodone, and guns.
Deputies say Christopher Cooper, 18, and a 17 year old passenger were taken into custody.
Cooper was taken to Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, the teen was taken to DJJ.
