Amazon sued over ‘buy’ movie option

(CNN)– Those movies and TV shows you’ve purchased on Amazon, don’t actually belong to you.

Now Amazon is facing a lawsuit over the situation.

A proposed class action lawsuit was filed last week in Washington federal court against Amazon accusing the company of a “bait and switch.”

The person who filed the lawsuit says she purchased episodes of a Nickelodeon TV series in May, but later found her purchases were no longer available.

That’s due to fine print that states the buyer has agreed to Amazon’s terms.
