TSA: 10.4 million screened for Labor Day holiday weekend

(CNN)–The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) said it screened nearly 10.4 million people over the four-day Labor Day holiday weekend.

That’s a more than 3% jump from the same time last year.

The TSA said Friday, August 29,  marked one of the busiest days in its history with more than 2.9 million passengers screened.

That’s the highest number ever for a Friday before the holiday.
