McDonald’s brings back Monopoly

(CNN)– McDonald’s is bringing back a game for customers from Baltic Avenue to the boardwalk.

The fast food giant’s “monopoly” returns to the U.S. on October 6.

This promotion based on the classic Hasbro board game made its debut with McDonald’s in 1987.

In addition to free food, some of the prizes up for grabs include $1 million American Airlines miles and a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

One lucky player will also walk away with $1 million in cash.

But things are a little different this time around: the game pieces will be scanned into the McDonald’s app for redemption.
