Trump ends some food tariffs

(CNN)– Experts say the prices of certain grocery items could go down after President Trump removed some tariffs on Brazilian goods Thursday, Nov. 20.

They include duties on coffee and beef as well as certain fruit, juices, and nuts.

The executive order applies retroactively from November 13.

The U.S. has a trade surplus with Brazil.

Trump says he imposed 50% duties on its goods in July to protest the trial of its Former Leader Jair Bolsonaro.
