Carolina-For-All held 3rd annual Social Justice Gala

COLUMMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Thursday afternoon, Dec. 4, Carolina-For-All hosted its third annual Social Justice Gala and Modjeska Simkins Freedom Fighter Award Dinner.

This year’s honorees include Fairfield County Representative Annie McDaniel, Victory Bank President Thomas Felder, and Larry “Big-T” Brown owner of Big T’s Barbecue in Columbia.

Organizers say these honorees have gone above and beyond in working for justice for all South Carolinians.

Today’s keynote speaker was Dr. Deanna Brown Thomas, daughter of legendary recording artist, James Brown.
