Amazon offers free tips for drivers

(CNN)– It’s always better to give than to receive, but it’s fantastic when you can give without opening your own wallet.

Amazon’s annual Thank My Driver program is returning.

That’s where customers who receive packages from Amazon can give a $5 tip to drivers while the tech company picks up the tab.

Amazon officials say this is a way to recognize its workers during the busier-than-usual holiday season.

To give a driver a bonus say “Alexa, thank my driver” to your device or go to Amazon’s website and search for “thank my driver.”
