GMC Thursday Headlines: SC Lawmakers Discussed New Abortion Laws & New “Student Physical Privacy Act”

Thursday Headlines: During the second legislative session yesterday, SC Lawmakers discussed both of the proposed abortion laws. While no vote was made on the “Prenatal Equal Protection Act,” lawmakers did advance a bill that would outlaw abortion drugs. Lawmakers also discussed the “Student Physical Privacy Act,” which would make state supported school require students to use the bathroom based on their biological sex.
