Spotify raising prices by $1

(CNN)– Spotify subscribers get ready to dish out more green.

The streaming service announced Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, it’s raising the price of its service by a dollar.

That means premium plans are going from $12 a month to $13.

It’s the same for students who will see their monthly bill go from $6 to $7.

And if you have Spotify’s Duo or family plan those are going up by $2 a month.

The price hikes take effect next month.
