Local Living: Friday free admission to the zoo, Saluda Shoals Park camp fire, Bark to the Park

 

 

 

LOCAL LIVING: COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, don’t miss free Fridays at Riverbanks Zoo.

All Richland County and Lexington County residents can receive free admission every Friday through January and February.

You just need to bring a valid proof of residency which includes a South Carolina photo ID or a property tax statement.

 

You can relax under the stars with a family-friendly night out.

Saluda Shoals Park is hosting a community camp fire from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. the night of January 30.

There will be hot dogs, live music, and an optional glow-night hike.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids ages 3 to 12.

 

Pawmetto Lifeline is hosting their 18th annual Bark to the Park event.

There will be a trail walk, vendors, pet contests and more.

Registration opens at 10 in the morning on March 7 at Saluda Shoals Park.

All proceeds will benefit homeless pets in the Midlands.
