Driver killed in single-vehicle wreck on Old Charleston Road in Saluda

SALUDA CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Highway Patrol says a driver is dead following a wreck Monday afternoon.
According to Master Trooper Hannah Davidson, a 2014 Polaris Side by Side was travelling south on Old Charleston Road near Forrest Hills Road around 4:30 p.m.
That’s when the driver went off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.
The driver died from their injuries.
The Saluda County Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s identity as of yet as the investigation continues.
