ADP: Private sector hiring on slump
(CNN)– A new non-government report indicates U.S. hiring slumped last month.
The update from payroll company ADP says the economy added 22,000 private sector jobs.
That’s about half what experts had expected.
ADP’s chief economist says job creation has been slowing for three years, but wage growth has remained stable.
The official government jobs data is delayed due to the recent government shutdown.
