South Carolina releases list of suspended charities

SOUTH CAROLINA (WOLO) – The South Carolina State Treasurer’s Office says a list of suspended charities has been released.

Officials with the South Carolina Secretary of State’s office says the charities were not in compliance with the Solicitation of the Charitable Funds Act.

Suspended charities are prohibited from soliciting donations in the state.

Some of the local charities included are Allen University in Columbia, Aandre’s Way Foundation of Orangeburg & Abounding Love International Outreach Ministry of Irmo.
