Update: 2 teens arrested in connection with Vista Towers shooting

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia PD says two teens have been arrested in connection with a shooting at an apartment complex last month.

Officers say 18-year-old Eric Catoe Jr., and 18-year-old Kumari Stuckey were arrested in connection with last month’s shooting incident at Vista Towers.

Both teens are charged with breach of peace of a high & aggravated nature.

They’re both accused of shooting firearms while attending a party at the complex on Jan. 20, 2026.

Columbia Police Department officers recovered multiple firearms from the scene.

A motive for the incident remains under investigation, and CPD says additional arrests are possible.
