Poll: Most SC voters undecided on governor’s race
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– As the race for governor takes shape, more polling indicates that voters remain largely undecided on who they want as the nominees.
A recent poll from the South Carolina Policy Council shows that among Republicans, 43% remain undecided on who they want to be the nominee, while that number jumps to 67% for Democrats.
In terms of the candidates, the poll shows Democrat Jermaine Johnson with a 17 point lead over Charleston Attorney Mullins McLeod.
On the Republican side, the poll shows Congresswoman Nancy Mace with a 6 point lead over Attorney General Alan Wilson and Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette.
