Richland Co. coroner identifies victim of electric scooter vs. car collision

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford has released the identity of the individual who died as a result of an electric scooter vs. car crash, said the coroner’s office.

The collision happened on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the intersection of Monticello Road and Ridgeway Street.

The victim was identified as Tracey F. Brown, 57, of Columbia.

“We will continue working with the South Carolina Highway Patrol to fully investigate this crash. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted.” Coroner Rutherford stated.

The collision remains under active investigation.
