Students at Columbia High School host Black History Month celebration

 

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Students at Columbia high school hosted a Black History Month celebration today.

The Monday, Feb, 23, 2026, celebration was called Creativity Rooted in History.

The event featured a student-led fashion show, a step performance from Benedict students, and musical performances by the South Carolina State University Choir.

Richland School District One’s stem magnet program organized today’s event.
