Waymo self-driving cars added to 4 cities
(CNN)– Four more cities are getting driverless vehicles.
Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026, Waymo announced it is expanding to Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Orlando.
The company is owned by Google parent Alphabet, and offers rides in autonomous cars that do not have drivers.
This is the first time it has expanded to multiple cities at the same time.
Waymo vehicles will only serve specific areas of each metro.
Users must download the company’s app and will be invited on a rolling basis to use the service.
