Dog treat recall due to risk of salmonella

(CNN)– There’s a recall of dog treats pet owners should be aware of.

Six-ounce bags of Elite Treats Chicken Chips For Dogs have been recalled due to a risk of salmonella.

The affected packages have an expiration date of April 2027.

The treats were sold in South Carolina and five other states.

At last check there were no reports of any dogs getting sick from the treats.

If you have any stop using them and throw them away.
