Murder suspect pleads guilty to being a felon in possession of firearm
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A murder suspect has pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm.
On August 31 of 2025, Columbia Police were investigating the suspicious disappearance of Angela Fuller who was last seen with her boyfriend 55-year-old Anthony Reese.
Officers spotted Reese’s vehicle and attempted to conduct a traffic stop but he left the scene and eventually crashed in Lexington.
Officers say a loaded gun was found in Reese’s vehicle, and testing confirmed the gun in his car matched the murder weapon.
Reese has pleaded not guilty to state charges of murder, unauthorized removal of a dead body, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and possession of a stolen pistol.
