401K balance grew 11% in 2025

(CNN)– According to Fidelity Investments, the average 401(k) balance rose by 11% last year.

This is the third straight year that the average corporate workplace retirement account enjoyed a double-digit hike.

Analysts say the strong showing comes from consistent saving habits by participants as well as overall market performance.

The findings were based on nearly 25-million accounts.
