Sumter Co. Sheriff Anthony Dennis praises deputies after multiple drug activity operations

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County Sheriff Anthony Dennis is praising his deputies after they successfully conducted multiple drug activity operations.

According to the sheriff, the operations executed over the last 90 days resulted in multiple arrests of drug traffickers, and that investigators seized more than $1.5 million of illegal drugs over the same period.

When asked about plans for future operations Sheriff Dennis said “our work never ends. we will continue to devote ourselves to keeping the citizens of Sumter County safe.”
