Uber, Zoox team up for robotaxis

(CNN)– Uber is getting some strange looking vehicles.
People in Las Vegas and San Francisco are already familiar with Zoox Robotaxis.
The company is partnering with Uber to become available through the ride hailing app in Las Vegas this Summer.
Next year, a rollout with Uber is planned for Los Angeles.
Zoox vehicles look different because the company says they are built specifically for ride hailing.
Other autonomous vehicles, like the ones Waymo uses are retrofitted passenger cars.
