Grab your shoes for the Midlands Heart Walk at Segra Park Saturday!
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Get ready to take a walk on the healthy side this weekend!
American Heart Association’s Midlands Heart Walk starts Saturday at Segra Park, 1640 Freed Street. The event opens at 8 a.m., with the walk starting at 8:45 a.m.
Curtis spoke with Heart Walk volunteer Travis Tourville & Dutch Fork High’s Quarterback Coach Josh Boyd, who survived a sudden cardiac arrest when he was 17, about how this walk raises funds to lead to more research & more people trained in lifesaving CPR to save others.
You can walk yourself or set up a team to help reach the American Heart Association’s goal of raising $550k.
