Bamberg said he is running on ideologies centered around serving the people of District 90, which covers portions of Bamberg, Colleton, Dorchester, and Orangeburg Counties.

I believe South Carolina can do better, and I think we can make South Carolina do better together. I believe our children deserve classrooms with endless opportunity, not limitations. I believe working people deserve a fair shot at success, not an economy that leaves them behid. And I believe government should work for the people, not the other way around.

Bamberg, a Democrat, defeated Republican challenger Herbert Dixon by roughly 3,500 votes in the 2024 election.
