Coroner: Elderly man killed in house fire

Lexington Co., S.C. (WOLO)– The Lexington Co. Coroner’s Office says an elderly man died in a house fire Wednesday morning.

Coroner Margaret Fisher says Wilfrid Demers, 91 died in the fire on Longview St.

The fire is under investigation by SLED and the Lexington Co. Coroner’s Office.
