Columbia firefighters worked Monday to stop a vehicle fire from spreading to a Monticello Road home, said the fire dept.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia firefighters worked Monday to stop a vehicle fire from spreading to a Monticello Road home, said the fire dept.

Columbia-Richland Fire Department said, the crew of Engine 13 – 1st Shift arrived to the area shortly after 1 p.m. to find heavy fire coming from the front hood and front seat area of a SUV.

The fire was extinguished and no one was hurt.
