Driver killed in fiery wreck on Vandoval Road Thursday

RICHLAND CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Highway Patrol says a driver was killed in a fiery wreck Thursday afternoon.

It happened on Vandoval Road at 4:30 p.m.

According to Master Trooper Hannah Davidson, a 2019 Ford Fiesta was travelling west, went off the roadway, struck a ditch and caught fire.

The driver died from their injuries.

The Richland County Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s identity as of yet, as the investigation continues.
