SCHP: Driver dead following I-77 North collision
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– SC Highway Patrol says a driver is dead following a collision on I-77 North in Richland County Sunday, April 12.
According to troopers, at around 5:45 in the morning at mile marker 13, a 2021 Chevy Camaro went off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail.
That driver was taken to the hospital where they died from their injuries.
The driver of another car that hit the debris from the collision was not hurt.
The Richland County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the victim’s identity as the investigation continues.
