Irmo students get lesson on driving safety

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– Some Midlands students got a lesson in driving safety Friday, April 17.

The Think-Fast Driver Safety Training Program made a stop at Irmo High School this morning.

Officials say the program is an innovative and effective method for delivering safety and prevention messaging to teens through a competitive trivia format.

Students ABC Columbia spoke with say the program was eye-opening.

The Think-Fast Interactive Program is sponsored by a grant from the Office of Highway Safety and Justice Programs, a division of the South Carolina Department of Public Safety.
