State to take part in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

 

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO) – Making sure unused or expired prescription medicines do not end up in the wrong hands is the focus of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day happening at locations across the state, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, April 25, 2026.

During ABC Columbia News at 5 Tuesday, Kelly Coakley talked with Michelle Nienhius with the South Carolina Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities’ Office of Substance Use Services about the purpose of the event and how to participate. Watch the full interview to learn more.
