Beloved coach killed in wrong-way collision to be laid to rest today
BATESBURG-LEESVILLE, S.C. (WOLO) – A beloved coach killed in a wrong-way collision will be laid to rest today.
Dyquan Adams’ funeral starts at 1 p.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church, 337 Devil’s Backbone Rd., Leesville.
According to the Richland County Coroner’s Office, Adams was killed Sunday when his vehicle was struck by Josiah Evan, who was going the wrong way on I-26.
Gray Collegiate Academy remembered the former coach, saying Adams “made a lasting impact on student athletes in competition and in life.”
Adams was 31-years-old.
