Prego launches digital recorder to capture dinner chats

You’ll soon be able to preserve family memories with help from your spaghetti sauce.

Prego is launching a digital recording device meant to capture conversations at the kitchen table.

It’s a partnership with a non-profit called Storycorps, which records and preserves every day stories.

Called the Connection Keeper, the small device can store eight hours of audio.

It also has voice prompts that can spark conversations.

You can keep the audio for your own prosperity, or upload it to Storycorps’ public archive.

The Connection Keeper goes on sale Monday for $20.
