Midlands men arrested on child sexual abuse material charges

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– SC Attorney General Alan Wilson says two men have been arrested in connection with the sexual exploitation of minors.

Wesley Blake Coffee, 19, of Lugoff, and Hayden Riley Clemency, 21, of Lexington, were arrested on 11 total charges connected to the sexual exploitation of minors.

Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Office and Lexington County Sheriff’s Department made the arrests in these unrelated cases.

Investigators received CyberTipline reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) which led them to Coffee and Clemency, says the Attorney General’s Office.

Also, investigators state Coffee possessed files of child sexual abuse material and Clemency distributed files of child sexual abuse material.

Clemency was arrested on April 22, 2026, and charged with six counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Coffee was arrested on April 24, 2026, and charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor.

These cases will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
