SCDOT to hold annual Workers Memorial Ceremony
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Tomorrow, April 28, the South Carolina Department of Transportation will hold its annual Workers Memorial Ceremony to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to the Palmetto State.
It will take place at 10 a.m. at their headquarters on Park Street.
The ceremony honors SCDOT employees, dating back to the 1920’s, who were killed while working on the highways as well as those who died on the job from natural causes.
