RCSD investigating stabbing at ASGDC

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies are investigating a Monday stabbing that happened at Alvin S. Glenn, said the sheriff’s dept.

Richland County Sheriff’s Department said, around 2:45 p.m. on Monday, April 27, deputies were dispatched to the jail in reference to a stabbing incident.

When deputies arrived to the jail, they were informed that an inmate suffered multiple stab wounds and was being taken by EMS to a local hospital.

He was alert, and conscious while being taken to the hospital, said RCSD.

This is an ongoing investigation.
