Research into youth Ai safety

(CNN)– A nonprofit watchdog called Common Sense Media says it’s launching the “Youth Ai Safety Institute.”

It’s an industry-backed research and testing lab for learning the risks kids might face when using artificial intelligence.

The plan is for the institute to provide information about Ai tools to families and set benchmarks for tech firms.

Apple’s former Ai strategy chief is on the institute’s board.

He says companies try to make their products good, but they need independent measures to help them do so.f
