Calhoun County deputies arrest man accused of apartment complex shooting

CALHOUN COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Calhoun County deputies have arrested a man accused in a shooting at an apartment complex last week.

24-year-old Javon Kenley is charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and discharging a firearm into a vehicle.

According to investigators, on Friday, May 1, Kenley is accused of shooting the victim at Lakeview Apartments.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Kenley is being held at the Calhoun County Detention Center with an $875,000 bond.
