Columbia average gas price at $4.20 a gallon

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Gas prices continue to skyrocket across the country and here in the Midlands.

According to AAA, the average price per gallon in Columbia is $4.20 cents a gallon, up nine cents from Tuesday, May 5.

AAA says the highest average ever recorded in the state is $4.60 a gallon in 2022 following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
