SC Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics this Friday!
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics is hitting the ground running this Friday!
Curtis spoke with Richland County Deputy Matt Southern & SC Forestry Commission’s Assistant Law Enforcement Chief Jonathan Calore, who both take part in organizing this special event.
They talk about three races you can participate in to join law enforcement Torch Run officers escort the Flame of Hope to Special Olympics South Carolina State Summer Games at Fort Jackson:
- 2:30 p.m. – SCLEOA Broad River to Main Street (7 miles)
- 4:30 p.m. – Main Street in Columbia to State House (1 mile)
- 6:30 p.m. – Ft. Jackson’s traffic circle to the Solomon Center (2 miles)
