UPDATE: Sumter Police say missing elderly man has been found safe

SUMTER CO., S.C. (WOLO) – Sumter Police say an elderly man who’s been missing since Tuesday night, has been found safe this morning.

According to officers, Joe Nathan Sumpter, 76, were last seen around 8:30 p.m. at his Breezy Bay home.

His family & officers believe he walked from the home and may require medical care.

Again, police say Sumpter has been found safe.
