Google plans to win Ai health race
(CNN)– Google is betting on artificial intelligence to help it dominate the health space.
The tech company is rebranding its Fit-Bit app to Google Health starting May 19.
The update puts its Gemini Ai model front and center through a ‘Health Coach’.
It can track fitness data and also answer health questions through a chat bot.
Right now, Google trails Apple and Samsung in the wearable tech market.
But, Google Health can read data from devices like Apple Watches and Oura Rings.
So the company hopes it can lure those users without them having to ditch their hardware.
